Codex plans do not sell a monthly credit balance. Local messages and cloud chats in ChatGPT share a 5-hour rolling window, on top of weekly limits, and paid plans can buy extra credits when they run out. Codex moved from per-message pricing to token-based credits on 2026-04-02 (Enterprise 2026-04-23). Plans meter local messages and cloud chats in a shared 5-hour window plus weekly limits. OpenAI publishes no fixed monthly credit allotment per plan, so this dataset carries none.

No fixed monthly allotment
OpenAI has not published a fixed monthly credit number for any Codex plan, so none of the plans above carry one. That is different from GitHub Copilot, which does publish a monthly AI-credit allowance per plan. To size your own usage, price your actual model and request volume in credits instead of assuming a plan allowance.
